Under the lights for the Mini’s at Wanstead was a great success. Everyone from U6’s up to U12’s loved running out of the tunnel to there own selected music followed by the cheers from the supporters.
There was some great rugby played watching a few of the tag games the level of rugby that was played was amazing for their age group so a credit to the coaches with the players demonstrating excellent support and teamwork.
U11s had a particularly hard game, from the start they had to be one step ahead. Rucking was a main part in the game as Wanstead were really quick to each breakdown, however our team hit every ruck to ensure we secured our ball. The team supported each other with encouragement throughout which was great to see. It was a really hard fought win but was great to watch.
