Huge congratulations to the Romford and Gidea Park RFC Girls Rugby team who went and played their first rugby match last weekend at Thurrock Rugby Club!

For most of them it was the first time they have ever played a competitive game of rugby, and they did themselves proud scoring lots of tries against much more experienced opposition.

Big thank you’s go to Rochford/Thurrock for organising it, Upminster for joining up for numbers, and to Blackheath and Southend for being excellent opposition!

Looking forward to many more to come!
