It was the most hotly anticipated game of the weekend - the Ravens were taking on SOUTHWOLD RFC in the next round of the Women’s National Conference League! ?

After a long journey and a 45 minute delay care of this weeks’ DOD, Rebecca Fish, we arrived at an unusually sunny Southwold.

From the off, the Ravens dominated. Between strong scrums, great rucking, fantastic handling and tremendous runs throughout the game, the Ravens defeated the home team with a convincing performance.

There were a huge number of tries, which luckily for all involved the ref kept track of, which we think were scored by the following players; Jenny Mugglestone (2), Rosie Cocker, Izzy Mitchell, Jemma Bello, Jo Gregory, Lucy Kerr, Amy Wakerley, and Tash Berbank. Rosie C also got three conversions.

We are dedicating this week’s emphatic win to the Pillar of the Community, H, who is unwell having spent more than a week in hospital. We hope this puts a big smile on your face. From all of us, we hope you feel better soon.

Forward of the match this week went to Izzy for a brilliant performance, scoring a try and for some great work around the field.

Back of the match this week went to Jemma, for scoring her first ever try and having improved so much since she joined.
